The town of Bol is the only larger settlement on the southern side of the island of Brač. It’s a popular tourist destination due to its pebble beaches that stretch along the entire coastline. West of the town center lies the natural phenomenon of Zlatni Rat beach, as well as other popular town beaches. In the western part of Bol, there is a hotel complex, considered the most tourist-populated area of the town. Further west, the picturesque village of Murvica retains its tradition and charm. Murvica is well connected to Bol and is ideal for cycling, running, and hiking, as it serves as a starting point for attractions such as Dragon’s Cave, Dračeva Luka, and Blaca Hermitage. Murvica also boasts beautiful beaches.
To the east of Bol, there are no settlements. The St. Lucia Path, which leads eastward, is a high-quality dirt road stretching 8 km. It winds along the island’s slopes through stunning nature, past family farms with vineyards and olive groves, with breathtaking views of the sea and island peaks. While the landscape to the west of Bol becomes gentler with lower slopes, to the east, nature takes over, and the slopes become steeper. On the third kilometer of the St. Lucia Path, in a secluded location, lies the Gališnjak Robinson-style house. Here, peace, silence, and harmonious coexistence with the island’s nature are complete. A paradise oasis for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, runners, and cyclists.
